Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth
Snowflakes, leaves, humans, plants, raindrops, stars, molecules, microscopic entities all come in communities. The singular cannot in reality exist.
At All Saints International School, we teach our children that they are the harvest of their community and that a life well lived in service of others is the one which is truly worthwhile.
Sensitivity, fellow feeling and compassion are values which are ingrained in the minds and hearts of each and every ASISian. Through its Interact Club, Donation Campaigns, School's Community service programs, and other projects, the children are inculcated with a sense of responsibility towards society and thus, they imbibe civic-mindedness. The school children are engaged in community service and are encouraged to 'give back to the society' of which they are a part. A plethora of in-house opportunities are also given to the student fraternity to display their awareness of social, environmental and civic issues at micro and macro level as well as contribute to noble causes throughout every academic session.
Social and community service form an integral part of the 'beyond academics' activities of the school. The school habitually arranges for visits to old age homes and orphanages as part of the Social Service Week and Donation Week celebrations. The ASISians visit different Old-Age homes, orphanages and schools for children with special needs with warm clothes, woollies and blankets. Most importantly, on every visit, they infuse their days with the warmth of their kindliness, concern and good-will. The sensitive youngsters of our school lend a patient ear and a helping hand to the senior citizens during their visits to the old age homes. The interaction with the lesser fortunate members of the society leaves a deep imprint on the students who avow to do whatever they can do to alleviate their lot.
